What are your frustrations? I'm most interesting in the autoposting aspect since the biggest barricade to blogging more is my obsession with formatting. It will take my 3x longer to post something than it needs to because I want everything just so.

I'd have to make a long list, but (a) performance often sucks, (b) the auto-summary doesn't work as well as Tumblr, and (c) you apparently have to format everything in HTML yourself.

I do like the autopost functionality, to be honest. It's way better than what Tumblr has right now. And Posterous is a little more open with your data in ways that Tumblr is not.

If formatting makes you crazy, I'll be interested to see how you feel about the HTML stuff. Lots of control available, but you have to exercise it.

I'll let you know how it works for me. I'm experimenting now before I start using it with Eyejabber.

I don't want to drive traffic to the posterous site necessarily so I'm going to avoid posting to twitter and let HootSuite pick up the post via RSS and post it to twitter. (that's the plan right now anyway).

The other thing I've thought about is a gaming focused blog hosted on posterous to go along with my new twitter account. That is, if I ever get time to play anything. :)
